ABOUT

we're here to bring you joyful creations for life's joyous occasions!

RACHMACH designs will help you mark the joyous occasion of your wedding with a ketubah that you will proudly want to display in your home for years to come. If you are wondering if your ketubah does not necessarily need to look like a traditional ketubah, then this is your answer. RACHMACH designs strives to challenge the visual concept of the ketubah and create works of art in all styles.

Rachel Machowsky, artist and founder of RACHMACH designs, studied Visual Arts at Brown University before pursuing her Master of Architecture at Columbia University GSAPP. After years of working in architecture in New York City and Chicago, Rachel discovered her true passion when designing her very own abstract ketubah for her wedding amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. A few friends and family members followed asking her to design them each a special ketubah for their own weddings, and her business took off.

Rachel finds immense joy in working with couples to design their custom ketubah that reflects their unique relationship, story, and style. She seeks to capture the essence of each couple’s life together in a piece of art that will be cherished forever as a reminder of the start of their marriage and what makes their love special. Her breadth of work encompasses everything from the nature inspired to Art Nouveau to black and white lines of abstraction.
